Folkestone Class Procedures
Entry
Only 1 adult to accompany the gymnast
Please wait outside until asked to come in
Masks are required to be worn inside the building by all accompanying adults
Entry is via the main entrance
You will need to wash / sanitise your hands on entry
Corridor
Please make your way down the corridor to the hall staying on the left hand side
Gymnasts’ temperature will be taken on entry to the hall and recorded on our registers
The accompanying adults name / contact number will also be taken for track & trace purposes
Hall
When entering the gym your gymnast will be shown where to put their shoes & drink
They will then wait on their allocated spot on the gym floor
Adults will then go around the hall in clockwise direction and out through the same entry corridor keeping to the left hand side
Collection
10 minutes prior to the end of the session we will allow parents to come in to wait in our allocated area
Please wear a mask
We will line up the gymnasts and walk them over to you
Exit through the corridor staying on the left hand side & sanitise as you leave
Please ensure that you are on time so that we can start the next lesson
What to wear & what to bring
Leggings / Shorts & t-shirt or leotard
Grip socks if you have them – bare feet is ok
Own hand sanitiser – we will have stations with sanitisers around the hall
Drink
Hair tied back
No jewellery
A pair of slip on shoes / sliders will be required to be worn when going to & from the toilet
What to expect during the session;
For the first couple of weeks we will be concentrating on shapes, basic skills with fun fitness, working towards their first badges. As per British Gymnastics we are not permitted to physically support your gymnast at this time.
Singleton Class Procedures

You will need to wash / sanitise your hands on entry
Corridor
Please make your way down the corridor to the hall
Gymnasts’ temperature will be taken on entry to the hall and recorded on our registers
The accompanying adults name / contact number will also be taken for track & trace purposes
Hall
When entering the gym your gymnast will be shown were to put their shoes & drink
They will then wait on their allocated spot on the gym floor
Adults can accompany them and once settled to make your way out through the exit at the end of the hall
Collection
10 minutes prior to the end of the session we will allow parents to come in to wait in our allocated area

We will line up the gymnasts and walk them over to you
Exit through the side door – please sanitise on the way out
Please ensure that you are on time so that we can start the next lesson

Keeping safe during the session
Each gymnast will be allocated a specific area matting to warm up on ensuring social distancing.
When moving around stations social distancing will be adhered to.
Equipment will be cleaned after each rotation. Gymnasts will be asked to sanitise their hands after each rotation.
